Last night we had the staff translate from the handwritten Chinese-language-only menu, hoping to find the Szechuan fajitas, but alas, no!
But we DID find the best fried fish I've ever eaten, served in a little hinged wicker basket. The seasonings included lots of red pepper, lots of garlic, some cumin, and I don't know what else. I am from Cajun country, and I tell you that a Cajun would slap you in the face if you tried to steal a piece of this off his plate! Which is a high compliment where I come from. Man, it's good!
Also, steamed eggplant (!) with a nicely seasoned sesame dipping sauce. Never had steamed eggplant before, they cut it into long strips with the skin on, delicious! I should have taken the sauce home in a to go container.
On the permanent menu, the country young chicken (bone-in) remains a great favorite, exceptionally seasoned. If you like Szechuan seasoning, your mouth will thank you for this one.
