Nice nicoise at Cafe Claude

Joan Kureczka | Oct 6, 200507:57 PM

I read recently that the chef at Chez Papa had gone over to Cafe Claude, and so when I needed to schedule a downtown business lunch, we went. Perfect weather encouraged sitting outside.

We both went with the nicoise salad with fresh seared tombo tuna. Very nice, with a lightly dressed mixture of greens plus whole romaine leaves garnished with hard boiled eggs, olives, french green beans, anchovy filets, capers, cubed potatos and the tuna. One of the better versions I've had in the last few years. Friendly and professional service too.
