nice dinner options, but which to choose?

Hello all,

I just recently moved to NYC, and I first want to thank everyone for all of the wonderful information- I've made full use of the postings thus far and they have saved me from many mistakes, and pointed me to several hidden treasures in my neighborhood.

What I'm looking for now is a good, quasi-impressive dinner in the $75 or so price range per person. Two people, somewhere memorable but not going to blow the budget totally out of the water. Thoughts thus far have included Craft, Blue Hill, RM, maybe Babbo (inching closer to higher prices as I go...).

I'd like something interesting, really. and generally quiet. That's all I require. I've been to WD-50, and that about fits the bill, but I'd like to try something new. I've read a lot on the arguments about Craft, heard a few conflicting opinions on Blue Hill, and almost nothing on RM. Advice? Other, better options?

Many thanks from a newbie in town!
