Newly hip Lincoln square and Tank Sushi -- anybody been?

Deflator_Mouse | Mar 2, 200402:14 PM

Seems like there has a fair amount of discussion recently (a good thing, in my opinion) about the hippification of/rapidly increasing gentrification in the Lincoln Square area (the CVS/condo project, Bad Dog replacing Greciana Taverna, etc.) -- is Ravenswood a chowhound demographic center?

Anyway, has naybody been to Tank Sushi? It opened very recently, right near Bistro Campagne and Old Town School of Folk Music.

My wife and I walked in and checked out the dinner menu and were a little blown away by the high prices. We stopped by on a weekend around lunchtime (we were on foot and in the area) just to see if they had a different/cheaper lunch menu, but it was the same as the dinner one.

The high prices combined with what seemed to be a fairly slick/trendy layout turned us off (not that there is not good food to be had at restaurants with such layouts/ambiance, but it is just really not our style). Has anybody been there? Are the prices worth it?
