It's sounding as if we literally can't go wrong in Boston. So far, I am interested in Aquitaine, Brasserie Jo, OFado, and Olives. I too hear good things about Olives from friends that have been there recently.
And a bistro recommendation on Newbury would be very welcome. I think we may need to make reservations for dinner.
The sea food restaurant at the Colonnade hotel looks impressive too. Yet this is family travel, so we need to keep it in the realistic price range. If one night is a splurge, which would you do? I see Lumiere has extended its restaurant week menu. Between Lumiere, the Colonnade restaurant, and the Oak Room at our hotel, which would you pick?
We will be doing a walking tour of the city, and I am sure we will come upon some wonderful choices.
Is there a Boston culinary rating system? I have always found Gault-Milleau helpful in France, and when wandering on foot always look for their seal on restaurant doors.
