So hubby and I are "foodies" and are raising very adventurous eaters in our girls. Both are accustomed to eating out --properly. They thoroughly enjoy it just like us!
We are only doing a very quick trip to the city and have two dinner slots open. One after Madame Tussauds (we can travel) and one after our NBC studio tour.
Hubby is convinced Smith and Wollensky's (the original) is still charming and worth going to--can you confirm?
As much as we love the food--we are also NOT deterred by crowds, loudness or tourists. We can see past all that.
So, we'd like one steakhouse (can be pricey, we're ok dropping a chunk of change) and one authentic italian recommendation (again no real budget --but would like not to go over $500 for both dinners).
some LOVEs of the family:
one last request--we are shopping one day FAO/Dylans and would love a great deli/lunch recommendation before we head to American Girl
