newark ironbound for lunch (questions)???

mrnyc | Aug 28, 200205:27 PM     3

i want to visit the newark ironbound district via the path train for lunch this th or fri. however, all the older posts only seem to refer to dinners. is this a problem?

i'm interested in portuguese soup/meat/fish dishes. brazillian places are fine too of course. may i have your suggestions on where to dine and what to order?

finally, i believe i read below that there is a large portuguese grocery store in the area --- if so could anyone tell me something about it i'd like to check it out.

thanks in advance 'hounds!
