I often go to shows at NJPAC, and I've tried several of the Portuguese/Spanish restaurants in Newark. I haven't been to these two yet, and the only one I have tried that really stood out was Tony da Caneca, but it's too out of the way.
Now I'm trying to decide between Casa Vasca and Fornos for dinner after an afternoon show on Sunday. I see that both have been discussed before, but I'm interested in the relative merits of each. I think both have their partisans here. My research so far leads me to think that Casa Vasca is the consensus favorite.
