I will be visiting Boston from New York this coming long weekend. I am seeking advice as to where I will find a better lobseter roll, better clam chowder, better oysters (both on the half shell and fried), and a better dining experience as a whole: Neptune or B&G. I have been to B&G previously and had a wonderful meal, but I remember hearing and/or reading that it has gone down hill somewhat of late. Is there any truth to this? Which place is better, and why?
