Ate at Celeste last night for the first time, the lines in the past scared me away - thought it was excellent, truly authentic Neopolitan, well-priced. Blue cheese and red-onion app. was quite tasty, really interesting roasted baby artichoke w/ lemon was great, and the ravioli with spinach and ricotta was the best pasta dish I've had since Lupa. Overall, a meal slightly better than Genarro, and much more enjoyable atmosphere and ownership.
Any thoughts on this place, or their sister restaurant on Bleeker and Bowery?
