Nathan's Kosherland

Zoe | Jun 6, 200409:37 PM

In the space of many incarnations of bagel shops (I enjoy Bagels; Manhattan Bagels and Nathan's Bagels) comes Nathan's Kosherland. Its a spirited space full of people drinking coffee inside and out, eating bagels, eating breakfast and doing a take away business. Being hungry for a cream cheese bagel and not wanting to go to Juniors, my partner did the take away bit: very satisfactory - really good onion bagel, not to doughy or chewy and lightly warmed/toasted with a good portion of lox, two kinds of cream cheese, plain and chive plus onion, tomato and cucumber with a scoop of whitefish salad. $8.95. We also had a side of Persian potato salad with peas. Good brunch.
