I've always thought this place coasted on legend and clientele (and it does deliver a great, particularly LA atmosphere) but I had such a fantastic sandwich today that I just may have to go back later this week...the French Dip with the brisket was singularly satisfying -- meaty, warm, dripping, slightly fatty. Delicious. The decent-plus cole slaw was a a good foil.
