Having been my first time and gotten great help from fellow Chowhounds, here is where we ended up.
Dinner at F. Scotts - Great live Jazz in the bar area and had a drink there first. Sat in the back area which was very pleasant with nice service. Appetizers were the seared scallops and the corn soup. Both were good, but the soup was a bit better. Main courses were the halibut (best dish of the meal) and the pork which was reccommended, but was too bland. Dessert was a great angel food cake with peaches and caramel and the sorbet. Meal was "good not great"
Lunch - one day at Bricks and one at Elena's. Both were good. Started with the seared tuna and then grilled salmon at Bricks and the steak. We had 2 wrap sandwiches at Elena's which made a perfect size lunch with the side salads.
Dinner at Sambuca - This was our best meal of the weekend. Great atmosphere, service and live music. Appetizers were the sea bass skewers, ribs with a watermelon salsa and the seafood martini (needed a little kick of tobasco which I added). Main course was the salmon teryaki over vegetables and the lamb (sooooo good). A side order of the fire roasted vegetables and a nice super tuscan wine rounded out a great meal. Dessert was the brownie with vanilla ice cream. Yum.
We did manage one more breakfast at Merridee's Bread basket which had such fresh and wonderful homemade foods. We made a basket to go of everything we loved.
A great trip and now need a food detox.
