Vandy alum headed to Nashville next month and need some recs for my bachelor party, a group of about 6-8. I've been back a few times in the last few years, both for business and reunions, so I have some idea of what's there, but need some updated guidance & recs. We'll be there from Friday dinner through Sunday late afternoon. Haven't picked a hotel yet, but will probably be staying in the Vandy/downtown area.

Rolf & Daughters - Seems like top of the list from everything I've read.
City House - Went a few years back and loved. Also near the top of the list.
Loveless - I have great memories of Loveless, but that was over 10 years ago. It's far from town, and there seems to be little love on the boards.
Princes/Hattie Bs/Bolton's - My guess in Prince's will be a late night trip, but if not any recs for the other two for either saturday or sunday lunch?
Rotiers - Is my nostalgia steering me right or wrong here?
Logan's Roadhouse - Is this anything other than a place to drink?

Would love to do Rolf & Daughters or City House one night and a steakhouse the other, but having a hard time finding a good idea for the steakhouse. How are Southern Steak & Oyster or Capitol Grille? Jimmy Kelly's and the Stockyard were big when I was in school there, but that was 10+ years ago....sounds like time has not been kind. Would rather not do the chains (Palm, Morton's, Ruth Chris) as we have them back home in Los Angeles.

If we tailgate at the Vandy football game on saturday afternoon, any suggestions for self-catering or should we eat before heading over?
