Narrowing down Rome restaurant picks

DS14248 | Aug 1, 201602:01 PM

My husband and I will have five nights in Rome towards the end of September (Sunday-Thursday). We love to eat and are hoping to experience the best Rome has to offer, without straying into too fine of dining (we won't be visiting La Pergola for example). I have narrowed down our dinner choices to the following:

Pizzeria Emma (the first night we arrive as it is near our hotel)
Trattoria Monti
Armando al Pantheon
Cesare al Casaletto

We definitely want to do Armando and Cesare, but I am less sure about Monti and would love thoughts about what those on the board think of it. I have friends who ate at Marzapane when they were last in Rome and loved it but I haven't seen much about it on this board. Does anyone have thoughts?

We also need one more restaurant for dinner. I have considered Colline Emilliane, L'Arcangelo, Tempio, and Tavernaccia Da Bruno but I am having a hard time narrowing it down. I am also open to alternate suggestions.

Any feedback would be great! I have looked on the boards quite a bit but wanted to check in since our trip is close and it seems the quality of restaurants in Rome can change frequently.

La Pergola,
Trattoria Monti,
Monti,
Armando at the Pantheon,
Trattoria Da Cesare al Casaletto,
Fatamorgana Monti,
Ristorante L'Arcangelo,
Tempio di Mecenate,
Colline Emiliane,
The Hills Of Lucullus
