We're road tripping from Vancouver and spending two nights each in Portland, Napa, and then Bend. In Napa we'll be at the Westin Napa Valley so that will be base camp for our visit.
We have a very modest meal budget because we want to load up on craft beer and fine wine to take home with us. So if anyone has any tips on good, simple bistros that won't break the bank please share! I don't mind spending some dough but I'm looking for good honest food and not necessarily a food experience.
And is there a particular wine I should take home with me? I like aromatic whites riesling, gewurz, pinot gris. And juicy, fruit bombs for red.
Any tips are greatly appreciated!
