NanoBond --------> ProBond

mobiledynamics | Jan 1, 202004:29 PM     9

Got some Gift Certificates that will need to be used up. While cruising on WS site, I now see there is a ProBond Lineup. Does anyone have any construction specs on them ? What caught my eye was the descriptor "revolutionary process that optimizes the metal to create thicker bases for even heat distribution, thinner sidewalls for lighter weight, and thicker rims for increased durability"

Is it the same stock, but just milled down on the sidewalls ? Or is it thicker on the base, by some way of a hybrid design, like the much talked about Lagos. on the CH boards these days ? I do have a set of thicker bottom Meyers already - small/large Nouvelle NS skillets - with the copper base/stainless bottoms for induction.

Did I just wake up the bear ?

C'mon WS fanbois. I'm curious how the thicker base/thinner walls is achieved..
