Dropped my child off at ballet lessons in the same shopping center and decided to pick up a menu at Nam Viet (Jeffrey & Irvine Ctr) for future reference...
- 2 Goi Cuon $5.95
- Beef Pho $8.25 (not to mention the note "All soups come with flat rice noodle, bean sprout, basil, lime & hoisin sauce w/ chili sauce and fresh slice jalapenos PER REQUEST)
- Banh Mi for $7.25 (Oh, wait, that does come with a side salad and shrimp chips)
- "Sinfully Rich Creme Brulee" $5.95
Do these folks know they're running a Vietnamese restaurant? Don't they know that regardless of how good they think their food is, Vietnamese food just starts tasting bad at a certain price point? Don't they know you're not supposed to have to REQUEST your cilantro, lime, sprouts and jalapenos? Did they notice there were at least 2 other Vietnamese restaurants less than 5 minutes away with equal atmosphere and (way) lower pricepoints?
Will someone go help them pull their heads out of their asses?
I'll stop ranting now... =)
