Nam Vang Vietnamese in Chinatown

Since I've heard this place was good, and sent someone from this board here for soup, I thought I'd better give it a try....It was only me, for lunch, so I couldn't try a lot, but I had a wonderful bowl of Bun Rieu, the crab, tomato and noodle soup...My belly is distinctly uncomfortable, due to the fact that the broth was so good, I kept eating and eating....Spicy and tomotaoey, with a lot of dried shrimp and some kind of falling-apart "fishball" that seemed to be made chopped squid, or other seafood, and a healthy amount of fermented shrimp paste....Definite chow-hound food...Plus the requisite sprouts and unidentified herbs to mix in..It was $5.25, and boy, was it good. I'll be back there, very soon.
