Nabisco's Uneeda Biscuits discontinued

1946dodge | Dec 20, 200809:59 AM     74

Well they blew out our Royal Lunch crackers, so now they have really done it. The first cracker that Nabisco ever made, the Uneeda Biscuit, my favorite when I am sick or well, has been discontinued.
Why? Because the megaconglomerate Kraft has listened to their bean counters and canceled it.
I was able to get a 6 pack from Hometown Favorites, but I don't expect them to be fresh, since these are the last of them.
Uneeda biscuits are as American as it gets, and now they are gone.
I called Kraft, BTW and registered my displeasure. I asked the operator there if she ever had a Uneeda biscuit or a Royal Lunch cracker.
She said no.
Poor girl I told her.

Damn.
