Mussels - will white wine curdle the 1/2 & 1/2?

I want to make steamed mussels with garlic, white wine, butter & herbs. I was also wanting the broth to be creamy, but thin. Will 1/2 & 1/2 curdle, or should I use heavy cream or forget the dairy altogether - thanks chowhounds!
