Not quite getting the Mundo hype. Tried last night. Very cute place and good atmosphere -- but ultimately the food didn't do much for us. For apps be had the chicken with walnuts...bland, like tuna salad, not much flavor. The spinach dip was a little better -- but nothing to write home about.
For main courses we had the ottoman dumplings...which had almost no filling. Like pasta swimming in yogurt. Not good at all. However, the cheesy shrimp casserole thing was rich and pretty tasty -- but the shrimps were overcooked. That was the only dish that was one step above mediocre.
Anyway, interesting menu -- but utlimately not great-interesting, in our opinion.
