Ok , this one may be painful in places . First of all , the place is tiny ( sits 40 ) & parking is hard to find . The food was excellent , & is divided on the menu between French/New Orleans , Heartland , Southern Comfort , & Tex Mex . I had the Reb Boy oyster app. , which may have had the best oysters I've had in it since moving out this way . It was a small casserole with cream , ham , onions , crackers , & a bit of butter , very good . I had the southern fried chicked , which did disappoint me a bit in that it was just 1 piece of breast meat . I had hoped for a leg , oh well . It came with red beans & rice . But the side dish I got with it was the best thing I had , cornbread andouille stuffing !
S.O. had nothing but good things to say about her food . Now , the one really bad thing is we had a waitress who admitted she was new to waitressing , & man did it show . We waited about 15 minutes for our ice teas . She basically vanished . Oh well , they have only been open for a month , so I guess I can forgive some things as kinks being worked out . The food was pretty great & the prices were good also . We'll give them a try again soon .
