MSP- Solo's Pizza Cafe - West Metro

This just opened up by us at 55 & 494. The concept is fresh individual pizzas - you choose you own toppings, choose a seat and they bring it out to you, a la Noodles & Co and the like. It's a local chain, I gather.

Lunch was a little pricey for us (family of 4 - 2 adults, one 4 year old, and one 11 year old). The 4 year old got the kids meal - 6" mini pizza, drink and a cookie for about 3.99. The rest of us each got our own 10" pizza, which turned out to be relatively BIG!

The pizza was very good. Crust is crisp and chewy. The kids really enjoyed the mozz cheese as it was gooey and melty. 11 year old had sausage and pepperoni and the sausage had a nice heat to it. I had the "Mona Lisa" which had white garlic sauce, fresh diced tomatoes, fresh spinach and smoked bacon. DH had a build your own of chicken and smoked bacon.

As we finished, we looked down and each of us had half a pie or more left on our plates, so we got some to go boxes and brought them home.

As I said, the kids loved it. I think the next time we would go, we'd split a pie between two people and maybe order a salad to round it out.
