MSP Riverview Wine Bar Review

After El Gaucho my 7 friends an I met up with some other people at the Riverview Wine Bar. It was pretty crowded (given it was only -4 degrees outside) but the service was exceptional and very accomadating to our group of 15+ people. While we didn't try any food, the wine and beers were all very good and their wine flight list is second to none in the Twin Cities area. It would be great if the Riverview could update their website so we know what musical guests will be performing on any given night (most weren't terribly impressed with the dramatic vocalist of the evening, but I give her props for trying) and it would be nice to have a list of their menu at hand before arriving.

Special awards go to:

the Un-oaked reds flight (watch that last one on the right though... Mas Carlot-Grenache/Syrah... it tasted a bit like tarragoned ketsup... ick)

The Spanish flight: 3 reds and 1 white, all exceptionally good!

Our server: Godbless her, she knew I was worried about bringing so many people in so she looked at me, told me to sit down and enjoy myself, and brought me a wine flight.
