MSP -- Your All-Occasion, Any Mood Favorites

So the question was raised in the thread below why Highland Grill (and their associated places Longfellow Grill and Edina Grill) are highly recommended.

To me it's simple. You can read my comments in the other thread. But to summarize, it's a place where, no matter what I'm in the mood for, what time of day, what the weather is like, how much I want to spend, if a have a specific craving or no clue what I'm in the mood for, both kids or no kids, I am 99.9% certain to be able to go there, find something interesting and "just right" for my mood, and have a satisfying and delicious meal. I can take or send any friend of any age or demographic and feel confident they'll also be happy.

Frankly, I have a hard time thinking of other places equally as dependable and consistent. Places like the diners of my youth out east (specifically the Luna Bell in Woodbridge, NJ and the Manalapan out in Englishtown, NJ) where you could go 100 times, never order the same thing twice and always be delighted (and very, very, very full).

So, all you wise and highly-valued-by-me Hounds...where's your "go to" restaurant where without fail you know you'll leave happy?
