I decided to get a quick (it was't quick at all!) lunch at Manana to go today. I waited for about a half hour, and was so frustrated-but when I actually ate the food all was forgiven. I had chicken with onions (I wish I could remember the spanish for it) for 9.50. It was a half a wonderfully crispy roasted chicken in a bed of sweet buttery onions. It came with a salad and two pieces of bread that were a cross between a corn tortilla and flatbread. I love the rice there-it's white with rice and peas, and black beans with chunks of white cheese. Man-I'm going to have to learn to call ahead, but out of three times I've been there I've been astounded each time. It easily will feed me three times-if I can leave it alone!
