After Movie in White Plains

My husband and I are relatively new to Westchester and we are going out for an all-too-rare night out without our kids. We are seeing a movie at the theater at City Center in White Plains and we'd like to eat afterwards, maybe around 9:00. We usually go out for sushi when we have the chance to relax and eat like adults, but for whatever reason, my husband doesn't want sushi tomorrow. I've been keeping a list of places to try, but none of them seem to be jumping out at me now.

My question is two-fold...could anyone suggest a "grown-up" restaurant in the area? Not necessarily looking for fancy, but just a place where I wouldn't bring my small kids.

The other thing is that at this point we obviously don't have a reservation, and I'd rather not make one, since I know my husband, and he will want to see what he feels like eating as dinner time approaches. So I'm hoping to find someplace that won't have a crazy wait on a Saturday night. Would Turkish Meze in Mamaroneck fit the bill?

We're open to any type of food, just obviously not sushi.

Thanks for any suggestions!
