Movement in Raw, Organic Apple Cider Vinegar

Hello all,

I've read these boards for almost a year without posting -- but now I have an emergency which I can't find any info about anywhere! I know you guys have a lot of experience and are keen on answering, so please help me!

I have a bottle of ACV that I purchased around this past November. I usually mix a bit with a glass of water to get my minerals.

Today I mixed my usual batch, and after drinking half the glass noticed that it had little super short squiggly lines floating around inside of it, and all of them were writhing, moving on their own! It's not the mother -- there were parts of that floating around too, and I know what it looks like. These were super-thin, clear-colored lines about a millimeter long or so, floating vertically, and swinging their little bodies from side to side. Creepy! Is that normal? Can I still use the ACV?

I can't find any info about these little guys, and it doesn't seem that they are the mother -- that stuff is brown and quite still. What is it and what should I do?

All tips much appreciated, and thank you in advance for your responses!

Anna

*note: the ACV is raw, organic, unpasteurized, and is inside a dense black plastic bottle.

EDIT: I went back to it after the couple of minutes it took me to research/write this, and everything looked clear -- but it was just settled on the bottom. Once I gave it a swish, the mother was floating around again, but so were the moving squiggles. I hope it's nothing bad....I still have over half the bottle left. OK, so I don't use it as often as I should, but I do enjoy my mineral water now and again.
