First thanks for the suggestions for Moutard - the frois gras and salmon/tuna tatare appetizers were really outragous and my husband's leg of lamb first rate. Now, onto veggies. I am not (as you can all tell from the app) a vegetarian, but I do like vegetables and last night had a real craving for a vegetarian dish, so I ordered the veggie special. It was great ($13)! Mix mixed mushrooms served in a light and very airy puff pastry sprinled with toasted sesame seeds (looked a bit like open triagles) Very, very tasty. In the middle of the plate was a generous mound of incredibly fresh , bright sauteed spinach and all this was supplemented by 2 types of light vinegry sauces (one dark and one green) artfully arranged on the plate, topped with tiny very, tasty fried onions. There was certainly butter in this - so it is not for vegans. And since it was listed on the regular menu as the seasonal veggie special I asssume this will change - but for anyone who is a vegetarian or simply feels like vegetables this was a very enjoyable meal and bodes well for future veggie specials.
