Mountain View's Milk Pail reincarnated as drive-through market

Melanie Wong | Apr 22, 202003:08 AM

Last summer we said a sad farewell to the 45-year-old Milk Pail Market in Mountain View. https://www.chowhound.com/post/farewe...

So it was a wonderful surprise to read Elena Kavadny's story in the Palo Alto Weekly that Milk Pail came back to life on Friday to serve the community during the Covid-19 crisis. The revival was the brain child of the founder's daughter, Kai Rasmussen (Go Bears!). Operating from its warehouse with on-line ordering, Milk Pail is selling curated baskets of produce and provisions for pick-up.
