Not technically in Las Vegas, but rather in Henderson, these folks are a paradigm shift in the local coffee community.

Dave Feldman A chocolate chip rye cookie -- that sounds great. I hope this is a big success, and in this location, I think it has a shot.

Good folks with a strong backing, seems very likely to do well since it is 'low risk' with Sunrise already established and their products already a known entity. They did a great job with the space, too, though more seating would be nice.

I agree. But there's no way I'm going to drive -- well, actually, take a cab -- 20 minutes to get there, stand in line to get an espresso, and then take another 20 minute ride back, when I only have a 20-minute break during a conference . . .

That said, I wouldn't rely on tourists/visitors, either. Makes much more sense for them to be in Henderson.

          1. uhockey re: zin1953 They won't rely on tourists, so its all good. I just want to see them do well for trying to do something different!
