Mother's Day Brunch - Help with menu please.

zainab | May 2, 201511:49 PM

Hi, I am hosting a mother's day brunch at my house for very close friends. We will be 14 adults and 12 kids.

Here is my menu served buffet style:

1. Waffle Bar - Chocolate and Classic batter with Lemon curd, whipped cream, chocolate chips, nutella, hersheys’ spread, maple syrup, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, banana, powdered sugar, butter (do everything night before)
scrambled eggs?? (is the quiche enough for the egg portion??)
2. Quiche (picking up from bakery)
3. Bread Assorted: Buttermilk Biscuits /Lemon Poppy seed/Croissant/ (make it bake the day before)
4. Banana chocolate chip bread (let the kids make this their project!)
5. Smoked Salmon with cream cheese and capers
6. Cheese Board - 3 types of cheese, dips, crackers (costco it and decide which stuff is good there!)

Dessert:
Strawberry with chocolate dipping (make night before)
Chocolate cake (bake or buy)
Lemon Tart/Fruit Tart (buy)
Cupcakes (bake - kids project!)

Juice Bar —Mango, OJ, Guava
Signature Drink — Lemon Bellini (assign friend)
Champagne
Sparkling Water/Still Water

Coffee and tea (hubby's job)

What do u think?? Too much??? Do I need to streamline menu??
Help!!!

Thanks!!

I wanted to take some of my nicer silver dishes etc and use them to make it a bit more formal :)
