Hello Fellow Chowhounds --
I'm interested in taking my mom out to brunch this Sunday for Mother's Day, and I did a bit of research and found that IL Cielo in Bev. Hills and Beau Rivage in Malibu are both offering $45 prix fixe brunches; seems like a good deal to me, but I've never been to either restaurant, so I'm not sure which to opt for. Both restaurants still have reservation time slots available, but I need to decide soon. I was hoping a few of you could steer me in the right direction.. From what I could see on their website, IL Cielo looks particularly beautiful - just the kinda place mom would love. On the other hand, Beau Rivage is by the sea, and from a few photos I've seen, it also looks lovely. But is one superior in service and food? That's what I'd like to know..
Thanks in advance for your help - much appreciated.
