Mother's Day Brunch

KWynn | Apr 1, 2008 02:28 PM

We'll be visiting my sister from out of town (myself and my husband from DC, parents from FL) and would appreciate suggestions for Mother's Day Brunch. We don't need a big hoopla as mom is a light eater. I think her ideal brunch would be a veggie omlette with fruit. Then there's my sister who doesn't like eggs (as the main component of a dish, that is), so also need a place that offers something along the lines of french toast or waffles.

We'd prefer somewhere that takes reservations and allows you to order from a menu for Mother's Day rather than a grand buffet at $$$$ per person.

My sister lives in Murray Hill, so something that's not all the way across town from her would be ideal, but not mandatory. Among the restaurants she mentioned in an email to me, Hudson Place looks like a viable option, but I wanted to see what you Manhattan Chowhounds had to suggest.
