Morimoto Review & Recommendations?

At the risk of over-reviewing this restaurant, I thought I'd post my weekend experience anyway. (At least Salt's 15 minutes has passed, right?)

I went to Morimoto once for lunch last summer and decided to try a dinner on Thursday. Having tried all of Starr's restaurants, I have to say that I think Morimoto's my new fave (amongst Starr's).

My friend and I shared steak tartare and shrimp tempura apps, both of which were prepared very well- temp, texture, and flavor. The steak was really great -very juicy, but not bloody- served with miniature dough rounds. A fan of all things fried, the tempura floored me- very delicate, but crispy.
Dinner was a shared plate of various sashimi/sushi. Being used to Tokyo Lunchbox for all my sushi needs (which works just fine for a weekday lunch) it was a very pleasant change. The high-grade fish was really wonderfully-buttery. HOWever, I think Kisso's preparation is better- slightly tastier and more appropriate serving sizes.
After dinner was plum sake, which, though delicious, knocked me on my ass. A good overall experience, especially with the light show. Prices were relatively high, as expected.

I think Tokyo lunchbox works fine for lunches and Kisso will forever be in my regular sushi repertoire. Morimoto was fun and chic, but once or twice a year's good enough for me.

I've heard all the chatter, and I know I MUST try Fuji in NJ, but dose anyone have any other recommendations for Philly sushi?
