Montreal restaurant recommendations needed

furysmom | Jul 20, 201901:20 PM     9

We are long time day trip visitors to Montreal but will finally stay a few nights. We need recommendations for (not too expensive) restaurants with good drinks. Really open on cuisine but favorites are Mexican, Burmese, Thai. If there are any amazing tiki bars would love to know. Also any must try breakfast spots. I know it is a long shot, but if there are any remaining restaurants serving dry garlic spareribs please advise (high end to hole in the wall). Finally, any food markets like Grand Central in LA or Union Market in DC? Thanks in advance!
