I along with 3 of my friends are planning to come to Montreal the last week of November. I've gone through few of the posts on the site and am looking for some advice/recommendations, etc. The criteria for restaurants in the order of preference is, 1. Delicious food, 2. Uniquely Montreal, 3. Avoid repetetions of flavors and tastes, 4. Close to our hotel (Maritime Plaza Hotel, 1155 Guy Street, Montreal, QC H3H 2K5)
Here is what I am planning:
Wednesday (really) late night - I was thinking of Milos but am pretty sure we won't be able to make it in time. Any recommendations for places open past 12:00AM?
Thursday - Viateur bagels (158 St. Viateur), grazing through Jean Talon, Poutine (Patati Patata, Pho Lien ,Smth else??), Dinner at APDC
Friday - Lunch at DNA, Dinner - (Help decide between Joe Beef/Au Cinquieme Peche/Le Club Chasse et Peche)
Saturday - Lunch at Milos ( I was thinking about Le Club Chasse et Peche but from the site it seems like they are not serving lunch??), Dinner at Ferreira (How's the cheaper F Bar)
Sunday - Need a recommendation for something around 10:00 - 11:00 AM. Really am not interested in brunch with egg based dishes but not sure what else to get. Byblos looks OK... Sparrow??
Also, I know that APDC is probably going to be crazy expensive but what about the others? Will love to save a few bucks :) Also, none of us speak French, if that is a factor that would affect the above.
Thanks a lot everyone!!
