I am planning a trip to Montreal with my family for Thanksgiving and would like to get some dinner recommendations.
On the list already is Moishe's, which we loved when we visited last February. Also on the tentative list is/was Toque, but doing a little more research I worry that it might be overpriced and perhaps not quite the amazing experience I would like to have. I don't mind doling out cash for something truly wonderful, hate overpaying for mediocre. Is it really worth it, or it is hype?
My husband and I tried Les Ramparts in the Vieux Port area last time and really enjoyed it. I would go back but would like to find something a bit closer to where we are staying downtown this time, to try for dinner after a very long drive. Any recommendations neat St. Catherine?
I am particularly interested in bistro recommendations if anyone has them.
Thanks in advance for everyon's help!
