We have an American friend who lives in Montreal and, as a gift, we might send him some "hard-to-find-in-Montreal food." He mentioned tortillas, which, as Chicagoans, is easy enough to remedy. But might that be true, and is there anything else that may be appreciated when one lives in Canada? We cannot, will not, send hot dogs. Any cuisines that would be particularly difficult? I know Amazon has everything but I'm asking for your thoughts.
Great hot sauces? Tortillas? I'm thinking a bag of rancho gordo beans, too.
