Hey everyone, I will be spending a month in Paris and am looking for some critiques of my list. I would also love some recommendations on more reasonable priced bistros in and around the 2nd!
Here's what I have so far. Thoughts? I feel I don't have nearly enough bistros at the moment :/ . I prefer modern French to classic, but do appreciate good offal dishes that I anticipate will be easier to find at old school places. Also, what are some good places I can go to without reservations?
A Noste (About a five minute walk from here so I expect to frequent the sandwich truck/tapas but I've already reserved for upstairs!)
Frenchie (Worth dealing with the pain of getting a reservation?)
Gare au Gorille
Les Comptoirs du Medoc
Le Mary Celeste
Chez L'ami Jean
Le Camion qui Fume (I'm a silly American spending two months in France...need my burger fix)
Marche des Enfants Rouges
How does this look? One last question. Do the majority of these restaurants have a Parisian spin on them or are they just outstanding restaurants that could be found in any major culinary destination?
Thanks so much, and if you ever need help with Los Angeles choices, don't hesitate to ask!
