Hi all

I'm taking a month's r&r in Miami between two jobs, time to get a little fit (lots of gym time planned) store up some sun in my bones, have a little fun. Coming in June.

I'll be renting a little apartment in Miami beach (so will have a kitchen) and want to soak up what Miami has to offer. I'm more looking for fresh ingredients and food markets, small restaurants and "experiences" rather than flashy expensive restaurants, healthy rather than elaborate.

I want to go to little Havana, that I know, and I want to scope out the food truck scene (I have been reading that thread) but I really want to see what's out there that I'm missing out on! I have an amazing opportunity to explore, so want to make the most of it.

What would you recommend to this London lawyer in her late 30s?

Expertise of the Chowniverse would be much appreciated.
