Could use your help, San Francisco hounds. Wife and I will be in town next weekend. Flying to Washington DC on Monday afternoon. Food is always an important part of our visits to the City, and it looks right now like we'll be at Great Eastern late on Friday, Ferry Building farmers market Saturday brunchish, Ana Mandara Saturday dinner, Ton Kiang for dim sum Sunday, out to Manka's in Inverness for "Sunday Service" Sunday afternoon. We're staying at Manka's Sunday night, and have a late afternoon flight out of SFO on Monday. So of course I want a good lunch on Monday and need some suggestions. We'll have plenty of time and a car so can get just about anywhere. Given our other meals, probably don't want this lunch to be Asian. We eat everything (sure, that helps you I know). I think I'd prefer casual over fancy but I'm always willing to pay for good food. Help me break out of my brain freeze! In these circumstances, and knowing we don't get to be out there nearly often enough, where would you go? Thanks for your ideas.
