Hey chowhounders. I'm a twenty year old hoping to someday be a cook (although I'm in college studying something completely different, haha) and for my mom's birthday I made her a steak dinner. The meal consisted of

Fresh Bread and butter.
Cheese and Charcuterie.
Cobb Salad with Buttermilk Ranch.
Filet Mignon steaks.
Asparagus.
Creamy Mashed Potatoes.
Elotes (Grilled Street Corn).
and a little dessert tray of homemade goods + a shop bought Napoleon (which my chihuahua knocked off the table and ate! Oops!) I am attaching an album with photos of it all.

Any chefs and home cooks, I would appreciate feedback. If you have any questions about recipes or the preparations, or any suggestions (whether it be presentation or execution), please let me know. Thank you so much!

Happy Birthday Mom! I Hope Your Birthday Was As Special As You Are.
