I am a new mama of a 3 month old (off topic but it’s been amazing so far!) with little time to myself yet alone cook. With lent coming up, I have made a commitment to myself to eat and cook more healthy.
I still have baby weight to loss and it is getting frustrating! I am a huge part of the problem though as we often turn to quick, easy comfort food (last night we had guests and they didn’t leave until 6 so we just picked up a pizza or have turned to frozen prepared meals from the grocery store ). I have also been in awful with eating a lot of junk food (chocolates, granola bars).
I am definitely going to start preparing salads ahead of time so I can just grab it for lunch.
I realize ‘healthy’ is subjective but looking for some new ideas especially for dinner (my husband helping is not an option because he does not get home from work until dinner). I have the ability to prep the night before when the baby is asleep but freezer space is somewhat limited.
I am looking for some ‘inspiration’
