I should first start by saying that I have never tried Mole. However, after hearing about what a complex sauce it is, and after hearing many state that having a great Mole is a sublime experience, my curiousity is piqued.

In light of the fact that I am now interested in trying a Mole (probably a chicken Mole), I have decided that I should start by trying a great one. That way, I can make up my own mind about whether I like them or not. Orange County, as close as it is to Mexico, has a large Mexican population and a number of really good Mexican restaurants. However, until I started looking around, I had no idea how hard it is to find one that makes Mole. I know that Taco Mesa does it, and it probably makes a pretty good one, as most of its foods are pretty good. But it is only occasionally, as a special, so I would have to catch it just on the right day.

Does anyone here know of a place in Orange County that makes a fantastic Mole? Not just OK, but great, or at least, extremely good? Please let me know.
