Mojito's. Aberdeen

I had seen this place previously in amongst the Monmouth Co threads and thought it at least deserved a mention of its own.I had intentionally pulled into this rte 36 plaza to grab a quick take out at 7.00pm on Friday from the neiboring Portuguese BBQ place. This was the third time I found that I would have to wait about 20 minutes until the chicken was cooked! There was only one other person in the place when I entered, and I wasn't prepared to wait.I frequent a number of similar style places in Newark and Long Branch and never run into this problem?
So,I decided I would give Mojitos Coastal Mexican a try.Overall it was very pleasant experience. The place is exceptionally clean with a pleasant, friendly and accomodating owner. The menu offers a varied assortment of Tacos,Burritos etc with the option to customise as you please. The place is fast food oriented (Think low buget Baja Fresh style )with an all you can eat option. It is well and fairly priced and offers enough interesting choices ( fruit and meat combo burrito ? ) to satisfy most IMO.The one thing I would like to see added would be a healthy dose of cilantro to the Burritos and a creamy chipolte sauce option.I chose the pulled steak which although it was lean and smooth,it didn't hold up as well as the meatier option at Juanitos (Red Bank ),my favorite, though sadly it has declined in quality and size over the years I might add.
Nevertheless,I will go back and sample the soft crispy chicken tacos on my next visit, and would suggest it as a good quick stop if you are in the vicinity. They have been open since Oct 07 and seem to be doing better than the previous pizzeria/deli opperations that were there.
