Mochi soup -- savory or sweet recipes?

I adore mochi and picked up a package of the "fresh" kind at Mitsuwa today (fresh as in it was made a Los Angeles Japanese confectionary and not frozen, but the mochi is a little dried out, which I assume is how it should be; it's not the sweetened kind). Does anyone have any good recipes for Ozoni or Zenzai? Or any other treats I can make with my mochi?
