In addition to the salads listed on the menu you can compose your own. The toppings include duck confit, ahi tuna, chicken, shrimp and grilled filet mignon.
There are 13 dressings with some of the more interesting vinagrettes - jalepeno-cilantro or the roasted red pepper-hazelnut.
Six types of greens and 41 toppings, the most interesting to me being the white anchovies.
There are a handful of interesting wines and beers as well as fresh-squeezed organic lemonade.
You can even get your salad hand-held folded into lavash bread ... probably artisan lavash.
Of the salad menu, the 'donald' looked the most interesting - endive, butter lettuce, frissee, crispy duck confit, Point Reyes blue cheese, candied walnuts, truffle oil, Mixt vinagrette.
At first I was thinking that since co-owner Andrew Swallow cooked at Gramercy Tavern in NYC, that he named the donald salad after The Donald. However, considering there's duck in that salad ... has anyone seen Donald Duck lately?
Swallow also managed Gary Danko.
