Hello! I need help! :)
I bought some Wolfgang Puck stainless steel mixing bowls from my local club store, and today I was making cookies, using my hand mixer, and when I scraped the bowl with my silicone spatula, and it was grayish color. So I took the cookie dough out and saw that the bowl looked really scratched up and then wiped the inside of the bowl with a paper towel and the paper towel turned gray as well. Have any of you ever heard or seen this before? Do you think I got a bad set of bowls??? Its really quite scratched and gouged. I don't want to continue to use them if there will be little chunks of steel in my food, ya know?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm at a loss as to what type of bowls are the best for mixing.
